Inverness and Richmond Railway

The Inverness and Richmond Railway was built in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, primarily to serve local coal mines. It operated from 1901 to 1929, when it was acquired by the Canadian National Railways. Service continued into the 1970s. Today it is the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail.
